Get ready for the ultimate Nepal experience — a journey packed with culture, adventure, mountains, and meaningful impact. Spend one week diving into local life and traditions, two unforgettable weeks trekking through the Himalayas, and finish with a week of community service that lets you give back while connecting with inspiring local communities. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek kicks off from Nayapul, leading you across rivers, terraced hillsides, lush oak forests, and vibrant rhododendron trails. Along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful Gurung villages surrounded by some of the most iconic mountain scenery in the world.
First Week: Introduction Week Your first week is all about settling into the vibe of Nepal and getting connected with the local culture. You’ll explore life at the foot of the Himalayas through language lessons, cultural experiences, temple visits, hiking adventures, and even a fun scavenger hunt through a local market. It’s the perfect intro to the energy, chaos, beauty, and warmth of Nepal. Second and Third Week: Annapurna Base Camp Trek The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes you deep into one of Nepal’s most legendary trekking routes. Starting from Nayapul, you’ll hike across rivers, stone stairways, terraced hillsides, rhododendron forests, and traditional Gurung villages surrounded by epic Himalayan landscapes. As the journey continues, the trail leads into the dramatic Modi River Gorge and onward into the breathtaking Annapurna Sanctuary — a natural mountain amphitheatre surrounded by towering peaks including Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna I & III, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, and the iconic Machhapuchhre. Trekking at nearly 14,000 ft, you’ll camp in the heart of some of the most unreal scenery Nepal has to offer. The Annapurna Sanctuary is famous for its panoramic mountain views and unforgettable atmosphere. On the way back, we descend through the gorge and cross Deorali Pass, where you’ll get sweeping views over the Kali Gandaki Valley. A rest stop in Ghorepani also includes the chance to hike up to Poon Hill for sunrise views across the western Himalayas, including the mighty Dhaulagiri. Fourth Week: Community Service Wrap up your journey by giving back to the local community through one of our meaningful volunteer projects. You can choose to teach at a local school, support children at a kindergarten, or help care for injured dogs at our shelter (Rabies Vaccination required). It’s a chance to connect, contribute, and leave Nepal knowing you made a real impact.
