Darjeeling Kindergarten

In this program, you’ll join a local kindergarten in Darjeeling as an assistant teacher, helping young children develop their English communication skills, creativity, and confidence in a warm and supportive environment. The schools are managed by government and private organizations, creating a safe and structured space where children can learn, play, and grow together. You’ll support classroom activities by creating fun lesson plans and assisting with subjects like English, Mathematics, Arts & Crafts, games, and more. Depending on the needs of the school, you may also get involved with music, drama, storytelling, or foreign language activities that keep the classroom energetic and interactive. Beyond teaching, you’ll also become part of the children’s daily lives by helping with playtime, activities, meals, grooming, and providing care and encouragement throughout the day. Sometimes the smallest moments—sharing laughs, helping with simple routines, or being there for a child—can create the biggest impact.
