About This Experience

Across many cities in Vietnam, organic waste still ends up in landfills, contributing to pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. This initiative takes a different approach by turning food scraps and biodegradable waste into nutrient-rich compost that supports schools, urban gardens, and green community spaces across the city. As a participant, you’ll experience the full composting journey — from collecting organic waste at markets and local households to sorting, layering, aerating, and harvesting finished compost.
