Teaching abroad, but make it meaningful Step into a unique cultural exchange where learning goes both ways. Share your English skills with Vietnamese students around your own age while building real friendships, confidence, and unforgettable memories together. As a volunteer English mentor, you’ll help students improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation skills, and overall confidence in English through fun, interactive sessions. Most students are hospitality and tourism majors aged 16–25, creating the perfect space for genuine peer-to-peer connection, cultural sharing, and community impact.
This program takes place at Saigontourist Hospitality College in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, where you’ll support students preparing for future careers in hospitality and tourism. As a mentor, you’ll help students strengthen their English communication skills — an essential tool for working in the global travel industry. Classes run for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, where participants co-lead lessons alongside local teachers, prepare engaging activities, and create interactive discussions that make learning feel natural and fun. From conversation games and roleplay scenarios to real-life communication exercises, you’ll help bring English to life inside the classroom. Beyond teaching, you’ll dive into local culture, join college activities, and connect with students who are excited to share their stories, traditions, and everyday life with you.
