About This Experience
If you’re passionate about marine conservation, this program lets you work closely with sea turtles—one of the world’s most fascinating ancient creatures. Based in Huidong, the reserve is home to four turtle species. You’ll learn about their behavior while helping care for them—feeding, cleaning, and maintaining their habitat. You may also support research and join educational activities to raise awareness. Beyond conservation work, you’ll engage with local communities, connect with conservationists and students, and experience life in a scenic coastal town with China’s only natural sea turtle breeding site.
