About This Experience
In Kathmandu, thousands of stray dogs face daily struggles including hunger, injuries, infections, and neglect. Many are abandoned or left to survive on the streets without proper care. Through this program, rescued dogs receive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and a second chance at life before being released into safer environments or adopted into loving homes. As a participant, you’ll work closely with local vets and animal welfare teams, actively supporting the recovery process of these vulnerable animals. Your time here is more than volunteering — it’s about making a direct impact while gaining meaningful experience in rescue work and animal care.
