About This Experience
This program gives you the chance to work closely with young children at Green Lion Kindergarten in Kathmandu, supporting their early learning journey in a warm and welcoming environment. The kindergarten focuses on providing education opportunities for children from underprivileged local communities and usually cares for around 35 to 45 children aged 3 to 6. You’ll support local teachers by introducing basic English, numbers, rhymes, and vocabulary in ways that feel playful, interactive, and exciting for the kids. At the same time, you’ll help encourage creativity, confidence, communication, and social development through games, storytelling, music, and group activities. More than just volunteering, this is a chance to connect with the local community, bring positive energy into the classroom, and create meaningful moments for children during an important stage of their development.
