Indonesia is a cultural playground—and Bali sits right at the heart of it. Known for its rich creative energy, the island is alive with art in every form, from intricate paintings and wood carvings to vibrant performances that tell stories passed down for generations. As one of the world’s top travel destinations, Bali is famous for its dynamic performing arts scene—where you’ll find live shows everywhere, from sacred temple festivals to intimate ceremonies and public performances that bring the culture to life. This Culture Week is designed to give you the full Bali experience—packed with adventure, cultural deep-dives, and meaningful local interactions. You’ll join language lessons, explore temples, walk through Ubud and the iconic Monkey Street, and get hands-on with art, cooking, dance, and flower arrangement. Throughout the week, you’ll stay active and engaged—learning the basics of the Balinese language, discovering Ubud and its scenic surroundings, and stepping into local life through immersive cultural activities. You’ll also experience a traditional Balinese performance, explore your creative side with Batik painting, and try your hand at authentic Balinese cooking. To wrap up the experience, you’ll create a traditional flower offering and bring it to one of Bali’s most sacred temples—The Holy Tirta Empul Temple. Here, you’ll have the chance to take part in a holy water ritual, a truly special moment to reflect, reset, and welcome good energy.
